Paulette B. (Houant) Schwartz, 80, died quietly in her home, surrounded by her family, on Friday afternoon, January 21, 2022, after a long illness.
Her husband of 62 years, Adolphe O. E. Schwartz, died on Tuesday, May 4, 2021. She leaves a son, Vincent T. P. Schwartz and his wife, Kimberly A. (Pichierri) Schwartz, with whom she lived in Millbury; two grandchldren: Mathieu V. Schwartz of Millbury and Mikaela A. Schwartz of Worcester; a daughter-in-law, Holly L. (Bissonnette) Schwartz and her children: Zakary I. Brusa and Mersadies C. Brusa; and several siblings and their families in France.
She was predeceased by her parents, Emile and Eva (Garde) Houant and a son, Thierry E. R. Schwartz of Douglas.
Mrs. Schwartz was born in Reims, Champagne, France on August 25, 1941, and emigrated, first to Montreal, P.Q., Canada, and then to the U.S., in the 1960's. She became a U.S. citizen in 1982.
She worked for 33 years at the Worcester Envelope Company where she was a machine adjuster when she retired.
Because of COVID-19, her funeral services will be private. There are no calling hours. Turgeon Funeral Home, Millbury, has charge of the arrangements.
