Lillian E. (Mongeon) Pietras

Lillian E. (Mongeon) Pietras, 92, died on Sunday, February 23, 2020, in Beaumont Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center At Worcester, after a long illness.
     Her husband of 55 years, Frank J. Pietras, died in 2003.
     She leaves four children:  Linda A. Ryan and her husband, Charles "Rick" Ryan, of Bolton,  David J. Pietras and his wife, Debora A. (Roy) Pietras, of Webster,  Michael S. Pietras and his wife, Karen A. (Pineau) Pietras, of Hudson,  and Richard P. Pietras and his wife, Elizabeth L. (Pearse) Pietras, of Byron, GA;  ten grandchildren;  and six great grandchildren.
     She was predeceased by her parents, Ernest and Anna (Plante) Mongeon;  two sisters:  Margaret Laflamme and Lucienne Lessard;  and three brothers:  Roland Mongeon, Arthur Mongeon, and Leo Mongeon.
     Mrs. Pietras was born in Northbridge on June 3, 1927, and lived there all of her life.  She attended Northbridge schools, was a lifelong member of St. Peter's Catholic Parish, and enjoyed polka dancing, gardening, and caring for her family.
     Her Funeral Mass will be offered at 11 A.M. on Saturday, March 14, in St. Peter's Catholic Church, 39 Church Ave., Northbridge.  Burial in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Whitinsville, will be private.  There are no calling hours.  Turgeon Funeral Home, 80 School St., Northbridge, has charge of the arrangements.
