Barbara M. (Rej) Goyette

Barbara M. (Rej) Goyette, 74, of Whitinsville, left us to be with God on Monday, September 20, 2021, after a long illness.

     She leaves her husband of 55 years, Aime Goyette; two children: David Goyette and his wife, Crystal (Marinel), and their children, Jacob and Andrew, of Northbridge, and Michelle (Goyette) Vater and her husband, David, and their children, Jacob and Nicole, of Bellingham; her sister, Frances (Rej) Southard and her husband, Paul, of Auburn; and several nieces and nephews and their families.

     Barbara was born in Whitinsville on October 15, 1946, daughter of the late Francis and Mary (Curis) Rej, and lived in Northbridge all her life. She was a graduate of Northbridge High School.  

     Barbara was a cosmetologist for over thirty years, until an illness forced her to retire in 1997. She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Parish and a friend of Bill W. for many years.

She enjoyed gardening, following the Patriots, feeding and watching the local bird population, watching MeTV, especially westerns and Hercule Poirot mysteries. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family and her pets.

     Private funeral services will be scheduled at a later date. There are no calling hours. Turgeon Funeral Home, 80 School St., Northbridge, is assisting the family with the arrangements.
